The village’s Planning Commission reviews all site plans and project proposals to ensure thoughtful development that aligns with community character. 

    Economic development in Westphalia is supported at the county level by the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP), which provides businesses with assistance in site selection, financing, workforce connections, and regulatory navigation. Meanwhile, the Clinton County Industrial Development Agency (CCIDA) offers tools such as tax exemptions and bond financing to help attract and expand businesses in the region.
